General
I’m Angel — a certified grief coach and the founder of Healing in Pieces Project. My work is rooted in lived experience, compassion, and honesty. I support people navigating grief in a way that’s human, non-clinical, and free of timelines.
Healing in Pieces Project exists because of my sister, Sarah.
After losing her, I learned firsthand that grief isn’t something you “get over.” It’s something you learn to live with, rebuild around, and carry forward. I created this space to offer the kind of support I wish existed — honest, grounded, and not focused on fixing.
No.
I am a certified grief coach, not a licensed therapist, counselor, or medical provider. My work is non-clinical and focused on emotional support, conversation, and lived experience.
To me, grief coaching means walking alongside, not leading or fixing.
It’s about holding space, listening deeply, offering gentle reflection, and helping people feel less alone as they navigate loss — healing in pieces and not all at once.
I don’t believe in:
Rushing grief
Forcing positivity
Treating healing like a checklist
I believe grief is messy, nonlinear, sometimes even darkly funny — and always human. This space allows all of that to exist.
Only when it’s helpful and appropriate.
Sessions are always centered on you, not my story. My lived experience informs my empathy, boundaries, and understanding — but the space belongs to the client.
I work best with adults who:
Are navigating loss
Feel overwhelmed, stuck, or misunderstood
Want support without clinical language or pressure
Value honesty, gentleness, and real conversation
You don’t need to know what you want from a session to start.
You’re not.
This space exists for the parts of grief that don’t fit neatly anywhere else. You don’t need to minimize, perform, or explain yourself here.
I believe in boundaries, rest, and sustainability — for myself and for clients.
I don’t offer crisis services, I limit my availability intentionally, and I make space for my own grief and healing. That’s how I show up present and grounded.
Healing in Pieces Project offers non-clinical grief coaching and emotional support for adults navigating loss. This space is centered on honest conversation, reflection, and connection — without pressure to “fix” grief or move on before you’re ready.

Healing in Pieces Project is not religious and does not follow a specific spiritual framework. Sessions are guided by your beliefs, values, and experiences.
This is a safe and supportive space where you’re welcome to share your beliefs, questions, or uncertainties—without expectation or pressure.

This space exists because grief is:
Messy
Nonlinear
Sometimes darkly funny
Always human
There is no fixing here — only walking alongside.
You don’t need:
The right words
A clear goal
A plan
You just need to show up as you are.
